This is a full-time position based in either Brisbane or Sydney, with the flexibility of a hybrid work model (a mix of office and work-from-home days). In return, you’ll enjoy a generous base salary plus performance-based incentives designed to reward your success.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Engage with prospective customers via inbound and outbound calls to understand their health insurance needs.
  • Present and explain health insurance policy options clearly, including waiting periods, exclusions, limits, and tiers.
  • Achieve and exceed monthly sales and conversion targets.
  • Adhere to all of Canstar’s sales processes, compliance standards, and the PHIIA Code of Conduct, ensuring every interaction reflects our commitment to integrity and ethical practice.
  • Keep accurate records in the CRM and ensure all customer interactions meet quality standards.
  • Contribute positively to a high-performance, team-oriented culture.

What We’re Looking For

  • 1-2 years of experience working within sales (health insurance preferrably), with a proven track record of exceeding targets through a customer-first approach.Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to simplify complex information with empathy and patience.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, KPI-driven environment.
  • Desire to continuously learn and stay informed of changes to private health insurance products.

Desirable Skills

  • Experience in health insurance sales or financial product sales.
  • Knowledge of the Private Health Insurance sector and PHIIA Code of Conduct.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to new systems and processes.
  • Interest in building a career in financial services and health insurance sales.
