Responsibilities:

  • Conducting hazard assessments and risk evaluations
  • Ensuring compliance with safety standards and legal regulations
  • Development and implementation of preventive measures for accident avoidance
  • Planning and conducting training and instructions
  • Creation and updating of emergency and evacuation plans
  • Advising and supporting staff on safety matters
  • Conducting internal and external audits and inspections
  • Maintenance and management of safety-relevant documents
  • Coordination with supervisory authorities and external service providers

Qualifications:

  • Completed training as a safety officer according to § 7 ArbSchG
  • Several years of professional experience in occupational safety, ideally in facility management or technical building equipment
  • Strong communication and consulting skills, as well as assertiveness
  • Interest in and enjoyment of working with people and technology from various trades
