Job Description
The Field Technician (Sprinkler Inspector) is responsible for testing, inspecting, and repairing water-based fire protection systems and their components. You’ll ensure systems are fully functional, document any deficiencies, and provide exceptional service to customers and internal teams.
Responsibilities
- Complete inspections and services following manufacturer instructions, codes, standards, and company policies
- Schedule inspections and communicate with customers effectively
- Provide detailed documentation of inspections for Eagle Fire, customers, and authorities having jurisdiction
- Report system discrepancies and recommended repairs to Eagle Fire and the customer
- Maintain certifications and continue education to stay current
- Work safely at all times and stop unsafe activities when necessary
- Perform other related duties as needed
- What We’re Looking For

- What We’re Looking For
- NICET II certification required (minimum 5 years of inspections/testing experience with water-based systems)
- Experience reading and interpreting diagrams, blueprints, and specifications
- Fire sprinkler service/inspection experience with manufacturer certifications preferred
- Strong knowledge of fire protection codes and standards
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Self-starter, able to work independently
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Ability to lift, crouch, push, pull, and work in confined spaces
- Ability to work in extreme temperatures and noisy environments
- Willingness to travel monthly to Nashville, TN and Birmingham, AL; travel will decrease as local growth continues
