What You'Ll Contribute

The Director, Marketing Analytics will be responsible for transforming marketing data into insights that drive decision-making, improve performance, and accelerate business growth. This role will be responsible for setting the vision and strategy for our marketing analytics programs, collaborating with teams to ensure a data-driven approach across channels, and continuously providing insights to optimize the digital experience for customers.

What You'Ll Do

  • Define and drive the overall marketing analytics vision, aligning metrics, reporting, and analysis with business objectives.
  • Own the design and implementation of marketing performance dashboards and scorecards across all channels (paid media, CRM, SEO, digital, content, etc.) providing stakeholders with clear insights into member engagement, retention, cross-domain traffic patterns, and overall site and product performance.
  • Oversee advanced analysis of customer behaviors, segmentation, and lifecycle stages to inform targeting and personalization strategies.
  • Develop and refine multi-touch attribution models and marketing mix models to measure the ROI of campaigns and inform budget allocation.
  • Collaborate with digital product, development, marketing, and data teams to define, implement, and refine metrics & tagging strategies.
  • Champion a culture of testing and learning by guiding A/B and multivariate testing strategies.
  • Lead data analysis initiatives that inform decision-making, providing strategic recommendations to optimize the digital experience based on insights derived from web behavior, user journeys, and engagement metrics.
  • Partner with leadership across Education Services and digital product teams to identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and measure the success of digital initiatives.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve event tagging, tracking processes, and reporting frameworks to enhance data accuracy and performance insights.

What You Have

Minimum education, skills and experience required.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Statistics, Data Science, Economics, Business, Analytics, or a related field; Master’s degree or MBA strongly preferred
  • Deep knowledge of marketing analytics methodologies, including attribution modeling, customer lifetime value (CLV), and cohort analysis
  • Advanced proficiency in SQL, knowledge of Snowflake, and experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, Looker, or Power BI
  • Expertise in digital analytics platforms such as Heap, Adobe Analytics, or Google Analytics
  • Experience with digital marketing platforms such as Hubspot, Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads, Salesforce, or similar
  • Strong communication skills with experience influencing executive stakeholders
  • Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams and complex data projects in fast-paced environments

Preferred education, skills, and experience.

  • 10+ years of progressive experience in marketing analytics, with at least 3–5 years in a leadership role
  • Experience with Google Tag Manager (GTM) for tag management and data layer setup
  • Experience with Python, R, SAS, or similar for statistical marketing modeling
  • Usage of SEO tools such as Google Search Console or Ahrefs
