We’re searching for a Director of Strategic Partnerships, someone who’s ready to be part of the best ranked children’s hospital in Texas, and among the best in the nation. In this position, you'll lead the development and implementation of a partnership strategy to support short and long-term goals including innovative partnership models. You’ll also lead strategic partnerships that drive the organization's growth and position as a market leader, identify and cultivate potential partnerships that align with the organization's strategic goals, and build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in partner organizations.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Establish new and enhance existing external relationships to strengthen awareness of the company and to create a pipeline of referrals
  • Partner with peers in Strategy, Business Development, Operations, Finance and Marketing to identify new business opportunities for the organization
  • Work closely with Legal and IS teams to execute agreements
  • Plan for strategic growth of targeted volumes  
  • Partner with the clinical and administrative leadership of the Centers of Excellence to identify business development opportunities, develop business plans as appropriate and recommend strategies for growth and success
  • Develop a corporate partnership strategy to enhance the destination medicine concept
  • Establish meaningful collaborations to facilitate access to pediatric and women’s healthcare
  • Maintain networks with local, regional and national organizations and groups outside of the company for collaboration purposes and share best practices
  • Develop, maintain and strengthen rapport and collaborative relationships with external parties  

Skills & Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business, or a related discipline required
  • Master's degree in healthcare administration, business, or a related discipline required
  • 10 years of healthcare experience, including 2 years of supervisory experience required
  • Previous experience in healthcare leadership preferred
