Senior Executive ‐ Material Quality

We are on the lookout for a dedicated individual to give fast solutions for the bulk material quality issues highlighted by inspection teams and plant to avoid or minimize the impact on the organization and work with suppliers and internal teams for material issues. Involve on material quality related things in SS and be connected with MQD.
Key Responsibilities
- Work on new material development process by participating in SS review meetings, sharing quality-related insights, and raising relevant concerns to mitigate risks before bulk production.
- Monitor and follow up on quality issues identified during SS meetings to ensure timely and appropriate corrective actions are implemented.
- Coordinate with suppliers to understand Raw Material issues and follow-up until both parties come to an agreement thereby ensuring quality decisions are made for a smooth flow in operations.
- Review samples for Inspection units or plant highlighted issues such as defects, color, and other issues and provide directions to the relevant teams.
- Visit internal operations and embellishment plants when needed to identify and address material quality issues, while sharing findings with the team to prevent repeat occurrences.
- Prepare the Monthly Quality Report highlighting quality issues found during inspections or at plants, and suggest corrective actions, sharing the report with the team to prevent future recurrences.
- Work closely with Garment quality teams to ensure that the customer receives garments made out of acceptable material quality and take immediate action to rectify issues pertaining to any quality deviations.
- Analyze customer trends and quality requirements by coordinating with Front-End teams, ensuring timely updates are received and applied to future material developments.
Knowledge And Skills
- Completed a degree in Engineering or Textile Technology.
- 2 to 3 years of experience in a similar capacity.
- Experience in fabric development would be advantageous.
- Strong communication skills.
- Good computer literacy and reporting skills.
