Empower transformation by becoming a driving force of change at MAS as we are on the lookout for a dedicated individual to join the technical team as a Pattern Technologist for a One Year Contract. This role would enable you to hold ownership of the technical aspects of the product by adhering to the critical path to achieve customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Attend Tech pack meeting/ Sewing meeting (Optional) to ensure adherence to the critical path.
  • Ensure patterns are created in alignment with the design intent and according to the pattern creation process upon receipt of the Tech pack.
  • Timely communication with the stakeholders for technical clarification if required.
  • Verify accuracy of patterns against samples whilst, identifying and addressing all technical issues.
  • Make sure customer comments are accurately incorporated at each cycle to ensure achievement of the expected fit requirements.
  • Ensure patterns are graded accurately according to the customer specifications.
  • Ensure all samples meet the given specifications and standards prior to fitting and dispatching them to the Customer along with the relevant documents and Participate for the fit sessions, adhering to the fit protocols.
  • Facilitate costing, Sampling and ordering processes by providing accurate patterns to ensure other relevant document in a timely manner.
  • Contribute to factory engagement points (DRA,PDRA,FI) by providing accurate product related information and timely follow up on agreed actions.
  • Coordinate all activities pertaining to the preparation of tech packs by liaising with relevant teams; on time and accurate document submission to the production.
  • Constant follow up the Critical Paths at each gate and as to meet the product development plan.

Qualifications:

  • Diploma in Textile & Clothing
  • B.Sc Engineering textile & Clothing degree will be an added advantage
  • 1-2 years of experience in the similar capacity with the emphasis on the relevant product category
