Summary: As part of a mission centric, locally delivered and nationally powered organization
this role is a key part of the national campaign development leadership team for Athletic
Initiatives and leads the strategic campaign framework. They will drive business intelligence and
strategic analytics to ensure internal revenue drivers are optimized. They will guide the donor
and participant journey to motivate high impact fundraising and deepen Blood Cancer United
wide relationships to exceed revenue goals for the Blood Cancer United's mission. Relentlessly
pursuing cancer cures.
Supervises: Manager, Athletic Initiatives
Leads: Territory, Region, and Market Staff with Athletic Initiatives responsibility
Duties and Responsibilities:
Mission Integration
• Partner with Education Services and Health Research department to effectively communicate the Blood Cancer United overall mission, programs, resources, and priorities.
Business Intelligence & Strategic Analytics
• Develop, produce, analyze, and constantly improve strategic campaign KPIs for internal stakeholders ensuring campaign standards and key revenue drivers are maximized to exceed revenue goals
• Extrapolate and share insights & trends from the internal and external peer to peer fundraising and for-profit industry translating into growth strategies
Technology and Initiative Development
• Develop communications to field with strategic updates and calls to action based on KPI analysis
• Lead incentive program strategy and liaison to Marketing & Procurement
• Liaison between IT and product to ensure current and future fundraising and CRM platform continues to meet initiative needs
• Serve as the “team expert” for Blood Cancer United information systems and applications
• Liaison to Finance for budgeting and revenue allocation
High Impact Fundraising
• Serves as the leader and coach to centralized product services team
• Accountable for innovative strategic planning to exceed revenue goals
• Develop short- and long-term plans with a vision of sustained year over year growth
• Maintain a working knowledge of the Blood Cancer United mission and programs to promote Organizational initiatives.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Education & Experience Requirements:
◦ Bachelor’s Degree, Master’s Degree Preferred in Business, Non-Profit Management
Certificates
◦ 9+ years’ experience in relatable experience
◦ Demonstrated track record of success in Athletic Initiatives or similar P2P fundraising campaign
◦ Subject Matter Expert in peer-to-peer fundraising
◦ High level of competency in reporting and analytics (role competency – business acumen vs business savvy
Physical Demands & Work Environment:
◦ Physical demands are minimal and typical of similar jobs in comparable organizations
◦ Work environment is representative and typical of similar jobs in comparable organizations
◦ Travel up to 15%
◦ Required to work some evenings or weekends

We are excited to share the base pay range for this position is $80,000 to $105,000. The offered compensation may vary based on factors such as geographic location, business need, market conditions, proficiencies, Blood Cancer United, education, and experience. Additionally, at Blood Cancer United we place a high value on internal pay equity and will consider the current compensation of similarly situated roles and direct team members. Base compensation is only one component of our Total Rewards program, which also includes an annual incentive plan and a competitive benefits package.
