We are looking for a Manual QA Tester (Mid - Level) to join our Financial Services team at Pointwest. The role ensures the quality and reliability of applications by designing test plans, executing manual tests, and reporting defects to deliver seamless user experiences. Key Responsibilities

• Create and execute test plans, test cases, and scenarios to verify functionality and usability.
• Perform regression, exploratory, and acceptance testing on web, mobile, and enterprise applications.
• Identify, document, and track defects using QA tools.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and business analysts to ensure requirements are met.
• Support continuous QA process improvements and share best practices within the team.
• Stay updated with testing trends, tools, and domain knowledge (financial services/banking).

Key Metrics

• % of test cases executed on schedule and with accuracy.
• Defect detection and reporting quality.
• Reduction of production release defects.
• Contribution to shorter release cycles while maintaining quality.
• Client satisfaction and positive feedback on deliverables.

Qualifications

Mandatory:

• Proven experience in manual testing (test planning, execution, regression testing).
• Knowledge of SDLC, QA methodologies, and metrics.
• Hands-on experience with test/defect management tools.

Preferred:

• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Exposure to API testing (e.g., Postman).
• Financial services or banking domain background.
