About the Role:

As the Plumber at Cordis Auckland, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring the efficient operation and maintenance of plumbing systems across our iconic multi-storey hotel. You’ll take ownership of daily plumbing activities, oversee repairs, troubleshoot challenges, and ensure compliance with safety and building codes all while delivering exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and carry out all plumbing maintenance and repair work.
• Troubleshoot issues, inspect systems, and implement effective solutions.
• Interpret blueprints and floor plans to carry out projects efficiently.
• Ensure compliance with NZ plumbing codes and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with contractors and other trades as required.
• Maintain detailed records of work completed

What We’Re Looking For:

• Must hold a valid New Zealand plumbing certification.
• Proven experience as a plumber, with a strong understanding of plumbing systems in multi-storey buildings.
• Skilled in pipe cutting, bending, and installation techniques.
• Familiarity with NZ plumbing codes and safety protocols.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to troubleshooting.
• Confident using plumbing tools and diagnostic equipment.
• Comfortable working independently and managing your own workload.
