The Parenteral Packaging and Assembly department at Innovative Medicines supply chain Beerse has the goal to be a leading provider of packaging solutions, focusing on delivering high-quality, efficient, and environmentally friendly packaging products. To better support the significant growth and new product launches (TecVayli, Tremfya, Darzalex,..), we are looking for a Site Readiness Lead Device Assembly & Packaging.  

Job Summary:

As a Site Readiness Lead Device Assembly & Packaging, you will lead IMSC Beerse’s transformational project Hermes, supporting the commercial transfer and launch for large molecule products.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Manage the integrated project plan focused on technical and operational readiness activities
  • Lead the weekly site readiness core team meeting to oversee transfer progress and identify cross-transfer topics that need to be tackled
  • Manage the total program budget including the detailing of the budget
  • Ensure infrastructure readiness for new manufacturing lines and products – Cold chain infrastructure, revised internal logistics, CT scanner,…
  • Interpret any volume forecast updates and translate into impact on shiftregimes.
  • Promote a safe working environment. Ensure processes are compliant with GMP, and other regulatory standards relevant to innovative medicines.
  • Manage the IM SC Beerse stakeholders and global stakeholders via steering committees.
  • Collaborate with other device assembly sites within the network, ensure that processes are aligned between different sites
  • Act as core team member in global program core team meeting
  • Specify and document overarching program principles to be followed throughout the program
  • Close collaboration with other departments  (QA, QC, Master data, MSAT, Operations, MAM, planning,..)

Qualifications:

Education:

  • A minimum of a Bachelor's degree or equivalent University degree in a Science, Technology or Engineering field is required. Master's degree is preferred.

Experience And Skills:

Required:

  • 5-10 years of relevant Supply Chain experience required, preferably in Manufacturing/Technical Operations
  • Experience in Operations or Process Excellence/Lean Manufacturing is preferred
  • Drive for continuous improvement is a must
  • Knowledge of project management (FPX) project management methodology
  • Demonstrated ability in change management
  • Strong partnering and understanding of MAM, process knowledge
  • Ability to lead & get things done through influence rather than direct line responsibility
  • Capable to lead, coach and motivate people throughout the various project phases
  • Excellent communication in English (written and spoken) is required
  • Excellent communication in Dutch is required for communication with operators, technicians, …
  • Knowledge of Change Control management systems (TrackWise, Comet)
  • Knowledge of ERP2 and the Production Execution System to have in-depth understanding of PI sheets, BOM setups, In Process Controls,… is considered a plus
  • Insights into Master Data process flow management tools (eg sIDMA) is considered a plus
  • Experience in working with TrakSys production line management tool is considered a plus
