Spire Cardiff Hospital is looking for a highly organised and experienced Imaging Administrator to join our dedicated Imaging team on a bank basis. This flexible opportunity is ideal for someone with a background in healthcare administration who enjoys working in a dynamic clinical environment.
As part of our bank staff, you’ll have the flexibility to choose shifts that suit your availability, making this a great option for those seeking work-life balance. You’ll play a vital role in supporting our diagnostic services, ensuring smooth patient journeys and efficient departmental operations.
Duties And Responsibilities:
- Contact patients and arrange radiology appointments liaising with other departments as appropriate
- Establish and maintain communication with people on routine care matters
- Input patient data on to hospital and radiology information systems
- Management of e-mails enquiries and referrals in a timely and professional manner
- Maintain administrative duties e.g.filing/photocopying of documentation
- Transfer and deliver radiology reports to appropriate destinations
- Efficiently and Accurately book and record patient details and appointments on the system via telephone, face to face and referral letter.
- To greet, welcome and provide any necessary assistance to all patients, consultants and visitors.
- To Register all new or follow up Patients.
- Provide and receive Patient information, ensuring that all information is provided, received and recorded in accordance with the Data Protection Act, Information Governance and other Spire Policies
Who We'Re Looking For:
- The successful candidate must have excellent customer service skills
- Previous and relevant experience in a multi-skilled, patient support role
- Someone who is highly organised and able to manage workload.
- Experienced and proficient in the use of PC, to include Microsoft packages
- Someone who works well as part of a team
Working hours: To cover shifts between, Monday - Sunday 07:30 - 20:00
