Job Description: Baylor’s Pre-Law Program is searching for an undergraduate student to assist the Program Manager with event coordination, communications, and daily operations of the Pre-Law Program. This role is well-suited for an organized, detail-oriented student interested in gaining experience in program management, communications, and student services. The position requires a working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Google Forms, and Canva, as well as openness to learning new technology and following pre-law news and law school cycle trends.

Responsibilities

  • Provide general office assistance and support, including answering inquiries and managing the Pre-Law email inbox.
  • Assist with event logistics, setup, and support during events such as the Pre-Law Kickoff and Law School Fair (room reservations, food pickup, check-in, signage).
  • Contribute to promotional efforts through Canva, social media, posters, and campus listservs.
  • Research and compile campus resources, opportunities, and initiatives for monthly newsletters and guides.
  • Assist with student organization communications and coordination.
  • Complete other duties as assigned by the Pre-Law Program Manager.
  • Ability to comply with University policies.
  • Maintain regular and punctual attendance.

Preferred Skills

  • Current Baylor undergraduate student in good academic standing.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, Google Forms, and Canva.
  • Openness to assisting with behind-the-scenes logistics. 
  • Provide general office assistance and support  
  • Greet clients and visitors with excellent customer service; answer inquiries and provide information 
  • Maintain files and reports and ensure confidentiality of information  
  • Assist with various projects, activities or tasks as needed  
  • Ability to comply with University policies  
  • Maintain regular and punctual attendance
