Overview:

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Software System Administration:  Serve as a Construction SME on the use of key accounting software (currently Procore and PeopleSoft), ensuring all project financial information is accurately maintained across systems. Attend meetings with DSG IT and internal partners to identify and prioritize system improvements. Collaborate with DSG IT to both create and improve cost reporting for Construction leadership.
• Construction Document Management:Manage end-to-end contract documentation for all construction projects including bid issuance, notice to proceed forms, contracts, purchase orders, change orders, and closeout packages. Work closely with DSG Construction PMs and Financial Coordinators to ensure all required documentation is included alongside vendor submittals. Work with DSG Legal on periodic updates to AIA standard contract templates. Serve as the subject matter expert on all contractual requirements, operational processes, payment terms, and vendor requests to determine impact to the business.
• Tax Administration and Payment Collections: Upon receipt of payment requests, ensure the proper coding of line items per company defined depreciation guidelines. Collect all conditional and final GC/subcontractor lien waivers. Provide waivers and all necessary documentation to Lease Administration and assist with the collection of landlord tenant allowance payments. Lead the collection process for landlord and GC back charges, including the initial invoice outreach and payment follow up.  
• Project Management & Execution: Lead the input of key vendor and site-specific information across systems including Oracle Primavera, Fusion and PMMS. Complete vendor risk assessments on a quarterly basis based on both ongoing and historical construction engagement with DSG.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting or a related business field
• Construction Accounting Software (Procore, PeopleSoft Financials)
• Strong ability to plan and organize.
• Excellent follow up abilities and communication skills when interacting with landlords and general contractors. 
• Ability to handle multiple projects and juggle competing tasks daily.
• Facilitate dispute resolution and problem solving with Construction PMs.
