As a Senior Construction Project Manager, you will oversee projects from inception to completion, working with our design teams and owners through design, then with our construction team through bidding and construction ensuring design specifications are met, budget requirements are upheld, and schedule commitments are maintained. You'll collaborate with diverse stakeholders, including clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors, to deliver exceptional results. You will lead project teams through all phases of design and construction while maintaining safe, organized job sites. Additionally, you'll identify new business opportunities and cultivate lasting client relationships that drive company growth.
As the Operations Manager, you will manage the superintendents providing mentorship, scheduling, leadership through best practices, and alignment.
Make an Impact
• Oversee total construction efforts to ensure projects are executed in accordance with design specifications, budgets, and schedules while interfacing with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors
• Develop project work scopes with Superintendents for bidding, conduct Pre-Bid meetings and Post-Bid interviews, and manage subcontractor agreements
• Create and maintain comprehensive design and construction schedules using Microsoft Project or similar software in coordination with Superintendents, owners, and subcontractors
• Facilitate effective team meetings during all project phases and manage both design and construction teams through regular design meetings and weekly contractor progress meetings with updated meeting minutes
• Resolve complex project issues by providing technical guidance and responding to field questions and Requests for Information (RFIs)
• Coordinate and supervise all construction activities to ensure organized, safe job sites are maintained throughout each project
• Identify new business opportunities and develop client relationships while maintaining established partnerships to expand the company's project portfolio
Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Architecture or Engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience
• 8-10+ years of related experience as a Design Professional, Construction Superintendent and/or Construction Manager role
• Management/Supervisory experience
• Commercial construction project experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Office tools, including Microsoft Project, Word, and Excel
• Health and Safety training, including CPR/First Aid Certification and OSHA 30 Hour Construction Training
• Procore experience (preferred)
