GlassRatner works with law firms, lenders, private equity sponsors, and companies of all types on complex business challenges such as pursuing a fraud investigation or corporate litigation, planning and executing a major acquisition or divestiture, or managing through a business crisis or bankruptcy. GlassRatner employs approximately 200 team members located across the United States, Canada, and Mexico.
We are seeking a full-time Project Assistant in our New York office. This is an in-office position in midtown Manhattan.
Duties of this position include, but are not limited to the following:
• Coordinate monthly billing process and reporting requirements, including preparation of certain court-required fee applications, and tracking related filing deadlines
• Maintain group databases and reporting in support of client management and practice development
• Support group business development and marketing efforts
• Administer the firm’s participation agreements concerning industry conferences and events
• Coordinate with firm’s Marketing and Public Relations groups to facilitate New York initiatives
• Facilitate communications within group and throughout firm
• Assist in creating, formatting, and editing proposals, presentations, and pitchbook materials, including use of PowerPoint for current and prospective engagements
• Prepare information required for new project set-up and project close-out
• Support ongoing client data accumulation and organization efforts
• Maintain the group’s weekly location planning calendar
• Other duties as assigned
Education, Experience, and Skills:
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a professional services firm required
• Associate or bachelor’s degree in a relevant field required
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills
• Strong knowledge of MS Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
• Time Management and Organizational Skills
• Communication, Leadership and Problem-Solving Skills
