Head of Product Development and Innovation - Deputy General Manager/Manager (South Asia Textiles – Pugoda)

Candidate Profile -

• Qualified in Textile Engineering (Preferably a BSc in Textile Engineering or a Similar qualification)
• Experience in a Senior role in product Development/Innovation for more than 5 years and Industry experience more than 10 years.
• Experience in working with High end Brands.
• Sound knowledge in Knitted Fabric Developments and Production Process.
• Good knowledge in Knitted Fabric constructions, Dye techniques, Finishing, Quality Assurance and sourcing processes. 
• Good communication skills and PR Skills.
• Ability to work independently with limited guidance.

Job Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the Product Development and Innovation strategy aligned with the company's vision and goals.
• Ability to anticipate problems, offers solutions, and address issues with materials in order to meet the Product Development/Product Innovation Teams KPI’s.
• Lead and mentor a team of Product developers, Designers, and Engineers.
• Foster a culture of Innovation and creativity across the organization.
• Work closely with the Senior management to align Product Development and Innovation initiatives with the overall business strategy.
