The purpose of the Talent Acquisition Specialist is to support and contribute to the NSF talent acquisition processes across Latin America, helping drive scalability for growth and advancing NSF’s mission to protect and improve human health.

  • Responsible for selected recruitment processes in Latin America, ensuring scalability and operational excellence.
  • Act as a strategic partner to HRBPs and hiring managers, supporting workforce planning and talent acquisition aligned with regional business goals.
  • Ensure compliance with local labor laws and internal policies related to recruitment and internal mobility.
  • Monitor recruitment performance using data and analytics, generating reports and driving continuous improvement.
  • Lead or contribute to projects focused on enhancing recruitment systems (ATS, automation, integrations) to improve efficiency and stakeholder experience.
  • Champion Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) initiatives throughout the recruitment lifecycle, promoting fair practices and attracting diverse talent.
  • Enhance candidate and hiring manager experience through clear communication, agility, and empathy.
  • Represent NSF’s employer brand at events, on social media, and through partnerships with universities and local communities.
  • Cascade global talent acquisition projects and adapt them to regional or local needs, ensuring relevance and alignment with local market dynamics.
  • Collaborate with global teams to align recruitment practices and share best practices across regions.
  • Proven experience in talent acquisition across Latin America, preferably in fast-paced, multicultural environments.
  • Fluency in Spanish and English (spoken and written); Portuguese is a plus.
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS), digital tools, and agile methodologies applied to HR.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret data and generate actionable insights.
  • Ability to manage multiple recruitment processes simultaneously with a focus on quality and timeliness.
  • Experience in continuous improvement projects, digital transformation, or DEI initiatives within recruitment.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and internal customer service skills.
  • Innovative mindset with a focus on employee experience and business partnership.
