AI Service Designer

Pearson, the world’s leading learning company, is hiring an <<AI Service Designer>> for our Office of Chief Technology Officer (OCTO) to play a key role in AgentOps team at Pearson.

You’ll be part of a cross-functional team of product innovators, creative technologists, agentic solution architects and AI engineers building the future of Pearson’s tools, systems and processes.

In this key position, you will apply your service, UX and UI design skills to redesign how experts across all our internal business function do their work with agents at their side. You will be the principle user experience designer of all next-gen internal agentic applications and the principle service designer for agentified processes and teams. You will be responsible for generative user research, state-of-the-art UX benchmarking of best-in-class agentic user experiences, designing, prototyping, and testing innovative new tools and workflows. You also support the team with storytelling and education, helping educate stakeholders and evangelize for the vision of Pearson as an agentic symbiotic enterprise.

What You’Ll Do

• Champion Agentic AI Product Design
• Drive enterprise-wide adoption of new agentic apps and tools.
• Set the new bar for AI-enabled product design and prototyping.
• Establish an Agentic-Native Design Culture
• Create custom agentic AI-powered design processes and workflows
• Establish and evangelize AI-powered synthetic asset generation workflows for design
• Drive Human-Centered Agentic Innovation
• Stay ahead of the latest agentic AI technologies, tools, processes and workflows
• Pilot emerging AI tools for design, research and asset production

• Educate And Evangelize

• Inspire and educate design teams across the company with the agentic art of the possible
• Facilitate workshops, hackathons, and masterclasses to drive adoption of agentic design
• Drive enterprise-wide adoption of new agentic apps and tools.
• Set the new bar for AI-enabled product design and prototyping.
• Stay ahead of the latest agentic AI technologies, tools, processes and workflows
• Pilot emerging AI tools for design, research and asset production
• Inspire and educate design teams across the company with the agentic art of the possible
• Facilitate workshops, hackathons, and masterclasses to drive adoption of agentic design

Who You Are:

• A passionate designer with an eye for great design and a skillset to match
• A curious tinkerer and experimenter with different design tools
• An early adopter and a super user of the latest AI tools
• An opinionated expert with experience designing for AI, XR, mobile, web
• An entrepreneurial “builder” who gets things done without supervision
• A storyteller who can translate abstract ideas into compelling visual artifacts and media
• 5+ years of experience in service design, UX/UI design or product design
• Proven track record of designing beautiful products that wow users
• Proven experience designing products with emerging technologies (AI, XR, Agents)
• Proficiency in Figma, Figma Make, Adobe Creative Suite
• Proven experience with vibe-coding tools such as Lovable, Figma Make for design
• Proven experience with generative and evaluative user research
