Central Procurement Coordinator - Clearwater Bay School

Clearwater Bay School is an International Baccalaureate (IB) World School serving the Sai Kung, Clearwater Bay and Tseung Kwan O communities in the Eastern New Territories of Hong Kong.  Through the IB Primary Years Programme, we offer a world class international primary education to students in years 1-6 that develops students’ creativity, confidence and willingness to achieve their personal best.  

Clearwater Bay School is seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as Central Procurement Coordinator. 

The successful candidate will be part of the office team and will be responsible for supporting functions in both finance and liaison with external providers, along with other administrative tasks. 

Main Responsibilities

• Procurement 
• Sourcing vendors/suppliers, requesting and collating quotations
• Place orders through online platforms
• Coordinate delivery of goods and services
• Liaison with external organisations eg bus companies, school uniforms and lunch provider 
• Provide administrative support to the Office Team and Senior Leadership Team
• To assist in school events
• Other administrative duties as delegated by the HR Finance Manager / Principal
• Sourcing vendors/suppliers, requesting and collating quotations
• Place orders through online platforms
• Coordinate delivery of goods and services

Competencies

• Proficient in using Google Suite and MS Office inc Excel
• Ability to be flexible and work with problem-solving initiatives.
• Responsible, organized, and customer-oriented.
• Ability to work harmoniously as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Requirements:

• 1 - 2 years of administrative experience preferred, new graduates are also welcome to apply
• Previous experience in working in educational settings would be desirable  
• Professional level competency in written and spoken communication in English, with Cantonese and Mandarin being desirable
