Solution Scoping & Design

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business processes and define technical approach.
  • Design and configure tailored solutions that align with client goals.
  • Document the designed solutions

Technical Implementation & Configuration

  • Deploy and configure Medicode and Fluency solutions in clinical environments tailored to client needs.
  • Customize workflows to align with client-specific requirements and coding practices.
  • Ensure smooth installation, configuration, and testing.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance internal tooling and implementation processes.
  • Collaborate with the HIS team to streamline integrations and reduce deployment effort.
  • Contribute to automation and standardisation initiatives across projects.
  • Technical Leadership, Troubleshooting & Support
  • Deploy and configure Medicode and Fluency solutions in clinical environments tailored to client needs.

Tooling & Process Improvement:

  • Serve as technical lead for the wide range of Solventum HIS product implementations including Medicode and Fluency.
  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues during implementation.
  • Provide L3 support and resolve technical issues after implementation.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, including configuration guides and troubleshooting playbooks.
  • Support knowledge transfer and enablement across engineering and support teams.

Training & Documentation

To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field, and 3+ years of experience in technical implementation, engineering, or consulting within a healthcare environment.

In addition to the above requirements, the following are also required:

  • 3+ years of familiarity with clinical documentation workflows, coding workflows, and EHR systems.
  • 3+ years of experience with system integration, APIs, and scripting (e.g., Python, PowerShell).
  • 3+ years of experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously and meeting deadlines

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or Computer Science from an accredited institution
  • Three (3) years of implementing software solutions in a private, public, government or military environment
  • Diagnostic Skills: Strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities.
  • Healthcare Standards Knowledge: Familiar with HL7, FHIR, and healthcare compliance requirements.
  • Clinical & Business Translation: Able to convert clinical and business needs into effective technical solutions.
  • Generative AI Familiarity: Comfortable using tools like Microsoft Copilot to support solution design and documentation.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent in presenting, documenting, and conveying ideas clearly.
  • Multitasking Capability: Able to contribute effectively across multiple projects simultaneously, maintaining focus and meeting expectations.
