Job Summary:
Assists RN to coordinate overall daily activities of the employee health services. Coordinates system-wide immunizations, inoculations and health screenings for pre-employment and on an annual basis to employees. Develops and manages employee health services at the system level. Works in conjunction with the employee health manager, medical providers and coordinators to ensure existing and new hire associates are onboarded in accordance with Adventist Health's standards. Works to ensure associates remain compliant with established standards.
Job Requirements:
Education And Work Experience:
- High School Education/GED or equivalent: Required
- Associate's/Technical Degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience: Preferred
- Five years' relevant experience: Preferred
Licenses/Certifications:
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation certified: Required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) or Healthstream Basic Life Support (HS-BLS) or RQIBLS or Heartsaver CPR (CPR): Required
Essential Functions:
- Performs all duties in coordination with the RN, employee health coordinator. Assists to ensure all pre-hire health requirements and annual health screens and processes are completed in a timely manner. Maintains complete records of all employees. Schedules lab tests, new hire physicals and other onboarding and annual appointments as needed.
- Preserves confidentiality of records. Maintains knowledge of current trends of employee health, changes in legal issues, and policies and procedures. Communicates this information to management as appropriate. Develops quality improvement and proposes new and revised employee health policies and procedures as needed.
- Serves as the primary point of contact for day-to-day administrative support of the centralized employee health program. Coordinates scheduling, logistics, and communication for employee health initiatives (e.g., TB screenings, flu vaccine clinics, fit testing, ergonomic assessments). Assists in implementing and maintaining tracking systems for employee health requirements and deadlines.
- Prepares reports, dashboards, and summaries from employee health systems or databases. Manages, maintains, and audits employee health records in accordance with HIPAA and regulatory standards. Tracks and monitors compliance with employee health screenings, immunizations, and surveillance requirements.
- Alerts clinical staff or leadership to gaps in compliance or expiring clearances. Ensures accurate documentation of exposure incidents, injury reports, and follow-up workflows.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
