As a Data Scientist Senior Associate on the Home Lending Data & Analytics team, you will play a pivotal role in deriving actionable insights to support our originations strategy. Your curiosity to proactively explore data, ask insightful questions, and uncover patterns will inform strategic decision-making for business improvement. To ensure success, you'll partner with Sales, Product, Marketing and other Data & Analytics teams to conduct deep-dive analyses that identify drivers of business performance and recommend actions to improve KPIs. You will build analytical frameworks to support strategic priorities and implement predictive analytic models to drive growth of Home Lending business.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Sales, Product, Marketing and other Data & Analytics partners to define objectives and develop data-driven solutions for complex business challenges.
  • Source and integrate data from various platforms to narrate the story of past performance and provide guidance on enhancing business effectiveness in meeting customer needs.
  • Perform descriptive, diagnostic, and inferential analyses to uncover trends, patterns, and actionable business insights.
  • Identify opportunities with the broader team to develop and enhance dashboards & automated reporting tools to facilitate decision making for business partners.
  • Conduct deep-dive analyses to identify and quantify drivers of business performance and recommend actions to improve KPIs.
  • Build analytical frameworks to support strategic and complex business priorities.
  • Implement predictive analytic models within targeted marketing campaigns, including customer segmentation and forecasting the incremental benefits of marketing efforts.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of experience in data analysis, business strategy, or related analytics field.
  • Proficiency using SQL, Python, and MS Excel for data manipulation, visualization, and analysis
  • Proven ability to connect data analysis to business strategies and deliver results that drive measurable impact.
  • Exceptional critical thinking, analytical, and communication skills to effectively deliver insights to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong ability to analyze complex problems, dive deep into data, and design innovative solutions. 
  • Relentless intellectual curiosity to understand the "why" behind data patterns.

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills:

  • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Snowflake) for large-scale data processing.
  • Familiarity with customer segmentation, targeting, or propensity modeling.
  • Background in financial services, mortgage, or related domains is a plus.
