As a Solution Designer in the Document Management Product Team, you will be part of a multi-disciplinary team that will perform discovery on current and future business processes. You will facilitate the capture of the current systems architecture and develop proposals for the future. You will understand our current system capabilities and will identify where enhancement is needed, working with the central teams to get the functionality defined and prioritized.
Job responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with product managers, business users and technologists at all levels in the organisation
- Gain a clear understanding of the business need through questioning and own research
- Design document processing solutions using a combination of shared and customer-specific components
- Facilitate and lead design sessions, ensuring clear communication and alignment across stakeholders
- Produce high-quality deliverables such as functional decomposition and data flow diagrams
- Ensure solutions are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with business objectives
- Represent customer needs in roadmap prioritisation discussions
- Strong solution design skills
- Significant experience of communicating solution designs clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Team-oriented
- Proven Business Analysis skills
- Skilled in facilitating collaborative design sessions and driving consensus
- Highly motivated, with a strong desire to learn
- Understands the fundamentals of LLMs
- Experience of working within an agile culture
- Experience of Operations within financial services
- An understanding of document processing
- Data modelling skills
- Some software engineering experience
- Some LLM prompt engineering experience
- Experience of a recognized agile methodology
- Experience of continuous improvement
