Agile Coach/Scrum Master – CSNB

Be the Catalyst for Agile Transformation within our team!

At Hapag-Lloyd, our Agile journey began five years ago. We have made progress - but we know sustainable transformation requires more than ceremonies and frameworks. That is why we are looking for an Agile Coach/Scrum Master that will join our team and help us in the further journey.

You’ll join our IT Customer Service and Niche Business team in Gdansk and help us drive the next phase of our transformation. This role goes beyond Agile frameworks - it is about changing mindsets, optimizing systems, and delivering real, measurable value, but also working close with the team on the daily adoption of agile, improve team collaboration and efficiency.

What You’Ll Do:

• Coach cross-functional IT Feature Teams and leadership Agile principles, values, and mindset
• Enable high-performing, autonomous, self-organized teams focused on flow, customer value, and learning
• Support feature teams and cluster leads with backlog prioritization, value stream alignment, and delivery flow
• Establish, use and help to improve metrics (e.g., Flow Efficiency, Lead Time, Cycle Time, Throughput) to enable transparency and drive improvements
• Guide leaders in creating psychological safety, long-term learning, and strategic focus

What You Bring:

• Minimum 5 years of experience as an Agile Coach, including coaching both teams and senior leaders in a multicultural environment
• Proven experience driving Lean transformations across IT and/or business domains
• Deep understanding of agile metrics, system thinking, and flow optimization
• Solid grasp of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe or similar) and how to scale them pragmatically
• Strong communication, facilitation, and stakeholder engagement skills
• Fluent in English (spoken and written)
• IT or technical background is a plus
