About Us
Riverlane’s mission is to master quantum error correction (QEC) and unlock a new age of human progress. From advances in material and climate science, to complex chemistry simulation for new drug design, quantum computers will help humanity solve some of its most important challenges. But without QEC, the industry’s defining technical challenge, such breakthroughs can never be achieved. Riverlane is the world leader in QEC technology. It’s a complex problem that requires a range of skills, talent and passion.
We recently raised $75 million to accelerate our cutting-edge R&D. We partner with many of the world’s leading quantum computing companies and governments to accelerate their path to utility-scale quantum computers. We’re making remarkable progress and growing fast. Join us!
About The Role
This is a unique opportunity for a talented B2B technology marketeer to shape and lead product marketing. Riverlane is positioned to be the unrivalled leader in the nascent $20 billion market for QEC technology, which in turn helps unlock the $1 trillion quantum computing market globally. You will help us realise this generational opportunity.
Deltaflow is our ‘QEC stack’ comprising proprietary QEC chips and software. It enables quantum computers to identify and correct in real-time the enormous volume of data errors that would otherwise make reliable scaling impossible. Deltakit, our open-source SDK, lays the groundwork for Deltaflow adoption.
This fantastic role offers a rare opportunity to join a company and industry at the critical pivot point between scientific discovery and technology commercialisation. Sound exciting?
What you will do
As Product Marketing Lead, you will report to our Chief Marketing Officer and work closely with the teams defining, building and selling each generation of our products. In this role, you will:
- Define and lead Riverlane’s product marketing strategy on a global basis
- Translate complex QEC technology into clear value propositions and storytelling for each user segment
- Lead on impactful product launches, including campaigns, collateral, technical demonstrations and adoption metrics for each product release
- Work with our partners to implement a product co-branding programme for Deltaflow, highlighting its critical role as an accelerator of their performance requirements
- Develop an affinity programme for partners and prospects that puts Riverlane at the centre of the global community of QEC learners and adopters
- Support the Deltakit team on developer outreach and community building
- Work with Business Development and Product teams on competitor analysis
- Be a key member of our impactful Marketing team
Requirements
What We Need
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in a relevant technical or scientific field, ideally (but not exclusively) in Physics, Engineering, Computer Science or Business
- 8+ years’ international experience in deep tech B2B product marketing, ideally in the quantum computing, semiconductor, high performance computing (HPC), scientific Python community or another deep tech field
- Ability to work across hardware and supporting software and understand their interdependencies
- Confidence and gravitas to interact effectively with a range of stakeholders, including C-suite, technical leadership, engineers and scientists
- The teamworking mindset for an entrepreneurial culture where everyone rolls up their sleeves to get things done together
- Excellent written and spoken English
Benefits
What can you expect from us
- A comprehensive benefits package that includes an annual bonus plan, private medical insurance, life insurance and a contributory pension scheme
- Equity, so that our team can share in the long-term success of Riverlane
- 28 days annual leave, plus bank holidays and enhanced family leave
- A diverse work environment that brings together experts in many fields (including software and hardware development, quantum information theory, physics and maths) and over 20 different nationalities
- A learning environment that encourages individual, team and company growth and learning, including a regular programme of learning events and training and conference budgets
