Position Summary:

The purpose of this role is to provide inspiring and high impact leadership to the divisional or functional Lean Sigma and Lean Management teams. The Lean Sigma and Lean Management teams are now unified under the title of Lean Six Sigma.  The Lean Six Sigma Manager is a member of the divisional operating committee. This leader owns the overall development and delivery of a multi-million-dollar portfolio of projects to drive significant impacts to divisional financial performance. Additionally, the Lean Six Sigma manager is a key strategy development and deployment partner to the divisional operating committee and/or the division president. The Lean Six Sigma manager actively partners with functional leader to develop measurements, analyze data, and develop financial analysis that aligns the organization around the greatest opportunities to increase margin and improve customer experience. 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Develop annual and 3-year Margin Focus plan for assigned division or business area, to delivery multi-million-dollar financial impact. Maintain alignment and priorities of all projects within the overall Margin Focus plan portfolio.  Deliver results per financial commitments of the Margin Focus program.  Create organizational disciplines, structures, and reporting tools to ensure excellence in delivery of results.
  • Provide strategic direction and leadership to a group of highly skilled Lean Sigma Black Belts, Master Black Belts, and Lean Management professionals.  Serve as mentor and coach to develop these technical and leadership resources into high performance leaders.
  • Collaborate closely with strategic suppliers, and external customers of all kinds (dealers, retail operations, The Home Depot, etc.) to identify and optimize extended supply chain opportunities. 
  • Provide strategic facilitation for assigned division or businesses area, utilizing strategy development tools and processes, such as OKRs, Hoshin Planning, and strategic analysis techniques from Lean, Lean Six Sigma, or other process disciplines.
  • Provide inspiring leadership to all levels of assigned division or business area, to embrace and advance our culture to one of process excellence, continuous learning, and superior customer experience.
  • Maintain direct and personal involvement of most critical projects and opportunities, ensuring direct leadership impact on transforming key divisional processes into vehicles of world-class customer experience and strong financial results.
  • Direct a team of 10+ technically skilled leaders, including those who supervise other. Indirect leadership by influence also key. Report directly to VP of Lean Sigma, or equivalent.

Qualifications And Skills:

Must-Have Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in design, manufacturing or industrial engineering.
  • Minimum 10 years professional experience in process improvement, quality, or business process development, with a minimum 2 years dedicated to leading and delivering Lean Six Sigma Black Belt projects. 
  • Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification required. Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt certification preferred.
  • Perform in a tactful, professional and flexible manner with sensitivity to diverse backgrounds and opinions with a strong ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.   
  • Strategic thinking and change management capabilities.
  • Drive results through persuasiveness and influencing skills; organize self and others with timely follow through and execution.
  • Highly effective coaching and mentoring skills.
  • Build highly effective relationships, develop people, and create high-performing teams.
COMPENSATION: Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to work experience, education, geographic location, certifications, etc. Your recruiter can share more about the specific compensation package for your preferred role during the hiring process. Successful candidates in this role are expected to earn $131,540 - $210,460.

PROFIT SHARING: In 2025 Andersen has set a profit sharing target of $3,500 per eligible employee, prorated as appropriate. Profit sharing will be paid out in quarterly installments to provide eligible employees with payments throughout the year, with payment amounts tied to quarterly operating profit performance.
