Hemel Hempstead Class 2 Driver

We are currently recruiting for a Delivery Driver 7.5t to join our busy and evolving transport team on our Roper Rhodes Contract, working for a leading logistics company.  

 As a Delivery driver, you’ll be responsible for delivering products from the Warehouse/Distribution Centre to warehouses and showrooms; ensuring our products are delivered safely with an exceptional service.

Salary:  £15.79

Shift Pattern Working 5 days per week Monday – Friday – 48 Hours per week 

Location: Hemel Hempstead

Essential:

• Knowledge of road safety 
• Valid and in date 7.5t licence  
• Valid Digital Tachograph card  
• An up-to-date Driver Qualification Card (Driver CPC)  
• A good understanding of Drivers hours, legislation, and WTD  
• No more than 6 points endorsed on your driving licence.

Key Skills/Experience

• Understanding of logging and collecting returns  
• Completion of tachograph in line with legislation 
• Maintaining a professional demeanour throughout interactions with customers, colleagues, and stakeholders  
• Presenting oneself neatly, in a professional manner and adhering to company dress code policies.  
• Understanding the importance of delivering exceptional service and striving to exceed customer expectations.  
• The role may involve heavy lifting; our vehicles are fitted with a tail lift, pump trucks and sack barrows are provided to aid with deliveries.
