Position: Student Bachelor Thesis
Duration: 6 months
Location: Germany, Nuremberg (hybrid)
Education Recommendation: Computer Science or any similar technical major

 

As part of our team you will:

  • Develop an application that retrieves configured failures from an OTN traffic generator and feeds them into the network element simulation.
  • Operate and configure an OTN traffic generator and the Nokia Photonic Service Switch (PSS).
  • Integrate a setup consisting of real and simulated optical network elements into a Digital Twin.
  • Develop appropriate test cases.
  • Demonstrate the complete Digital Twin setup under real-work OTN traffic conditions.

You Have:

  • active student status (Computer Science field)
  • good English, both spoken and written
  • valid work permit
  • willingness to learn about optical communication systems
