Are you dedicated to enhancing financial results, tenant satisfaction and sustainability in Real Estate management?

KIRKBI A/S is the investment holding company of the LEGO Group owned by the Kirk Kristiansen family. KIRKBI’s investment activities include, amongst others, commercial real estate investments in Denmark, Switzerland, Germany and the UK. Currently, we are looking for a Senior Asset Manager for our Copenhagen-based Real Estate team.

Together with your colleagues, you will ensure that the Northern Europe core portfolio (Copenhagen, Hamburg and London) is managed to high standards, with a focus on both financial performance, strong user satisfaction and sustainable development.

Ensuring performance through strategic partnering and stakeholder management
You will act as a sparring partner for our Financial Investments department and play a vital role in realising KIRKBI’s long-term strategic goals within the Real Estate segment. Collaborating closely with colleagues and a range of external stakeholders, you will help ensure a fully let portfolio, financial performance aligned with market benchmarks and high tenant satisfaction.

You naturally take on an anchoring role within the team, building strong relationships across asset, property, and facility management. Through trust, clear communication, and a collaborative mindset, you foster cohesion, navigate cross-functional challenges, and keep the team aligned around shared goals.

Your tasks include, among other things:

  • Implementing property strategies and dispositions to align with investments goals
  • Optimisation of rental income and cost management
  • Continuous development of the potential of the properties, including sustainable solutions
  • Lease negotiations
  • Conduct market research, financial reporting and surveyance of property performance
  • Annual valuation and budgeting

You can expect some travel activity to our properties in Hamburg and London.

Experienced real estate professional with good interpersonal skills
We are seeking an experienced real estate professional who combines strategic thinking and structure with a pragmatic and task-oriented approach. Respectful yet decisive, you listen attentively and provide clear and assured guidance, enabling you to cultivate effective relationships with tenants, partners and other stakeholders.

Moreover, you can identify with several of the following qualifications:

  • Experience within commercial or institutional real estate with experience from a real estate agency, law firm, accounting firm, real estate developer or the like. Knowledge of the real estate market in the UK and Hamburg would be an advantage.
  • Solid knowledge of financial reporting, including P&L and balance sheet fundamentals, financial budgeting, and real estate valuation metrics.
  • An education as AP Graduate in Financial Management, real estate agent, paralegal or other relevant training within the real estate or financial sector.
  • Proficient Danish and English language skills. German skills would be beneficial.

KIRKBI culture and benefits
At KIRKBI, our emphasis is on cultivating an environment that encourages both personal and professional growth. We work actively with sustainability, diversity and inclusion, e.g., by bringing diversity of thoughts, capabilities and experiences into play. Moreover, we have a clear focus on health and well-being, offering a suite of benefits to support this.

When we hire, we look for people whose values resonate with KIRKBI’s culture. We seek a diverse and engaging working environment with different skills, approaches, and backgrounds – giving all our current and future colleagues opportunities to thrive and develop in KIRKBI.

Even though we like to be physically together and enjoy coming into our beautiful offices, the flexibility of working remotely has become part of our ways of working.
