Receptionist

• Salary: £12.33 per hour
• Location: Park Vet Group, Glenfield

Job Type: Permanent

• Hours: 16 hours per week 
• Shift Pattern: Saturday 1-7pm Sunday 8-7pm

We are currently seeking a new receptionist to join our fantastic team here at Park Vet Group!

We would like to hear from candidates who are friendly, customer-focused and confident working in a busy environment.

The position will best suit a proactive and enthusiastic individual with a passion for providing excellent customer service.

Roles And Responsibilities:

• Welcoming and registering new customers.
• Booking in customers and making sure they receive gold standard care
• Answering the telephone and dealing with a range of customer queries
• Managing customer expectations regarding wait time.
• Administration duties e.g. scanning paperwork, filling in forms etc.

• Taking Payments

• Promoting offers and services
• Remaining calm, courteous and professional at all times, regardless of a client or visitor’s behaviour.

Experience Required:

• A minimum of 12 months’ experience dealing with customers in a customer facing role.
• Reception or Client Care experience
• Cash handling and till operation
• IT skills – confident in the use of Word, Excel and Outlook as a minimum
• Knowledge of client-based computer system and using a multiple line software-based telephone system
• English and Maths GCSE and good general education
• Any form of client care/ Veterinary receptionist qualification
