These individuals analyse client needs, implement software solutions, and provide training and support for seamless integration and utilisation of business applications, enabling clients to achieve their strategic objectives.As a business application consulting generalist at PwC, you will provide consulting services for a wide range of business applications. You will leverage a broad understanding of various software solutions to assist clients in optimising operational efficiency through analysis, implementation, training, and support.
Growing as a strategic advisor, you leverage your influence, expertise, and network to deliver quality results. You motivate and coach others, coming together to solve complex problems. As you increase in autonomy, you apply sound judgment, recognising when to take action and when to escalate. Qualifications / Certifications Required:
- NQF Level 4 and above (ZA) in Business Management / IT
- At least 2 years experience within consulting, or an industry business analysis/ transformation/ programme management role
Experience Required:
Experience of supporting delivery of transformation programmes, ideally in the Public Sector.
- Experience of business analysis / transformation programme management office / transformation communications and engagement / change monitoring.
- Experience of interpreting clients’ strategic, operational and external drivers for change, into coherent and logic recommendations
- Experience of creating high quality, visual outputs to communicate status, progress, business analysis and recommendations to clients
Responsibilities Of Role:
As a Senior Associate within our G&HI C&P team, you’ll work as part of a team of problem solvers with extensive consulting and industry experience, to support delivery of projects that help our clients solve complex business issues and deliver cost optimisation and productivity improvement. Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Help us to deliver our firmwide purpose of building trust in society and solving important problems.
- Support the design and delivery of iconic, technology-enabled transformation programmes for some of the largest public sector clients in the UK.
- Help to grow our multi-specialism Enterprise Transformation team, developing the tools and techniques that will help our clients transform their ways of working and secure better outcomes for the people and places they serve.
- Support a safe delivery of our projects, through programme management inc. risk and issue management, progress monitoring, implementation planning and stakeholder management
- Create visual and graphic outputs to translate our designs and recommendations into high quality client deliverables.
- Develop your own business, technical and global acumen – learn new skills, keep up to date with emerging local, national and global trends and help us bring the very best of our firm’s diverse and inclusive culture to our clients.
- Be innovative, take calculated risks, push yourself and resist the temptation to take the easy option.
- Be an ambassador for the PwC brand and help us further develop our reputation in the UK and overseas.
Desirable Skill Sets Include:
- Understanding of transformation opportunities in the Government and Healthcare Industries sector and what the general factors are to be considered while conducting complex transformation programmes.
- Awareness of how such programmes need to leverage technology and an understanding of different approaches to enterprise transformation.
- Experience in conducting business analysis and developing requirements across process, people, organisation, technology and information
- Ability to articulate the business benefits of transformations and articulate the case for change
- Practical and output focussed approach and a desire to make a difference.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to create client recommendations and outputs with concise, clear and coherent messaging
