About The Opportunity

We are seeking a Junior Civil Drafter with a minimum of three years experience to join our team, responsible for creating precise technical drawings and plans for civil projects. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with engineers to translate design concepts into accurate, high-quality drawings, ensuring compliance with industry standards and project specifications.

Key Responsbilites

• Working closely with our engineers on our civil infrastructure projects
• Create high-quality deliverables by translating design concepts and markups into high-quality drawings
• Following client and industry standards
• Ensuring deliverables are delivered on time and managing competing priorities

Required Experience

• Associate Diploma in Civil Engineering
• Minimum of 3 years experience in the civil engineering field
• High proficiency in AutoCAD
• Good understanding of how engineering drawings are managed
• Excellent attention to detail to produce high quality drawings
• Working knowledge of relevant industry and client standards
• Excellent communication skills
• Working in a fast-paced environment with good problem solving skills

Additional Preferred Experience

• Experience in the use of common data environments such as Autodesk Construction Cloud and ProjectWise
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD automation tools, including scripts and lisp
• Proficiency in MicroStation
• Queensland / Victoria Rail experience would be beneficial
