We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Account Technology Strategist– Healthcare to join our team in the UK to help lead our relationship with NHS central organisations.

The NHS is facing an unprecedented challenge, with a significant backlog, unprecedented funding pressures and workforce challenges keeping up with demand. There are few opportunities to help manage such sustained pressures; thankfully, AI and other technologies are opening up entirely new approaches to healthcare delivery that can improve outcomes, enhance efficiency and give hard pressed workers time back to care.

We are looking for a highly experienced and technically adept leader with a passion for supporting the NHS to help our customers transform healthcare.

As an Account Technology Strategist, you will function as the “virtual Chief Technology Officer” for your NHS organisations, leveraging your deep understanding of Microsoft’s products to help transform healthcare organisations to meet their strategic ambitions.

You’ll work with a team, including your Account Executive, and leverage a large, multi-functional specialist team across the breadth of the Microsoft solutions portfolio.

We are looking for an exceptional individual to join us with:

  • Exceptional technical credibility and ability to develop and share a technical vision with the most senior levels (C-suite) across the NHS
  • Deep understanding of the Microsoft product offering and the opportunities this presents to transform healthcare
  • Experience in technical sales, developing and driving opportunities to create transformational change using cloud & AI technologies
  • Ability to lead virtual teams in matrixed environments, build and maintain strong relationships
  • Outstanding communication, negotiation, presentation and stakeholder engagement skills

Responsibilities

  • You create and drive forward opportunities to help deliver the NHS’s ambitions using Microsoft’s technology suite, leveraging the full range of capabilities to support the NHS to shift from ‘analog to digital’
  • You lead technology strategy formulation, supporting execution and digital transformation, and creating trusted, long-term roadmaps for your NHS organisations. You also orchestrate the translation of the customer's business objectives into highly effective Technology Architecture.
  • You drive the communication strategy to help sell Microsoft offerings, map technical customer requirements to Microsoft technology platforms, and establish best practices and standards around account planning
  • You have a deep understanding of the customer’s usage of Microsoft technology, enabling you to clearly forecast and plan, helping direct the team on where there are opportunities to drive the account forwards
  • Your understanding of the technical architecture of the NHS, and the needs and ambitions of the NHS, enable you to provide a strong viewpoint to senior technical decision makers, where you come across as highly credible
  • You act as a thought leader for the healthcare team, synthesizing business insights and showcasing the value of technology to solve healthcare problems

Qualifications

Required Qualifications (Rqs)

  •  Extensive experience making recommendations to and/or collaborating with senior level executives in the NHS
  • Extensive experience in technical delivery and/or technical sales

Preferred Qualifications (Pqs)

  • Experience in working in Healthcare, including experience with driving digital transformation
