JOB SUMMARY:
We are looking for a talented Enterprise Architect to manage the business application architecture and data integration strategies globally. The Enterprise Architect's responsibilities include data integration strategy, identifying enterprise master data, optimizing business operations, and setting the direction and approach for integrating information applications and programs. The Enterprise Architect is also responsible for cataloging, developing, coordinating, communicating, maintaining, and enforcing overall enterprise architecture models, representations, initiatives, capabilities, and components to perform the organization's business and technology activities adequately.
- ESSENTIAL/PRIMARY DUTIES:
- •Oversee enterprise architects and system architects as they work on delivering standards and guidelines for critical business systems
- •Deliver the enterprise architectural requirements for both "off the shelf" software as well as company-developed software
- •Responsible for collaborating with the leadership of the SDLC practice to ensure alignment with overall technology processes and procedures for both waterfall and Agile software engineering teams
- •Collaboratively work with corporate IT infrastructure teams to ensure that architectural roadmaps align with the overall company vision of both on-premise and cloud-based solutions
- •Create and manage the enterprise data strategy utilizing an API framework
- •Identify and maintain master data within the enterprise
- •Provides architectural direction for implementation, operation, and support of business applications
- •Evaluate and make technology and tool decisions that support the organization’s strategy
- •Performs IT financial planning including annual capital and operating budget
- •Develop future roadmaps for technology advancements based on business opportunities
- •Monitors and evaluates the on-site technology support requirements to ensure cost-effectiveness. Be able to produce ROI scenarios for any significant IT changes, service deliveries, and initiatives.
- •Partners with all functional areas of the organization and implements IT solutions to support the company’s strategy and growth and improve overall efficiencies
- SECONDARY DUTIES:
- •Standardize and drive API test automation practices
- •Assist and enhance the SDLC for validated (CSV) software
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s Degree or Higher in Computer Science, IT, or related Engineering is required. 7-10 years of experience managing information systems and technology resources. 5-7 years of experience in the Medical Devices industry required.
- COMPETENCY/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
- •API engineering & management
- •Data integration and master data management
- •Data Modeling & Data Quality Management (BI, Data Lakes)
- •Familiarity with Cybersecurity concepts such as HITRUST
- •Computer system validation experience – GxP and FDA design controls
- •In-depth knowledge and experience with the Software Development Lifecycle and agile ways of working, principles, and methodologies (SAFe, Kanban, Scrum, Design Thinking)
- •Automated testing
- •Test Strategy
- •DevOps CI/CD methodologies
- •Agile SCRUM principles and practices
