We are seeking an experienced and proactive Corporate Credit Risk Manager to lead our centralized credit team. This role is responsible for managing customer credit limits, monitoring payment trends, overseeing credit insurance programs, and maintaining AFDA.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and supervise a team of credit professionals, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure departmental goals are met.
  • Ensure adherence to credit policies and procedures to minimize credit risk while maximizing revenue.
  • Review and optimize credit tools to manage risk as well as streamline internal processes.
  • Assess the creditworthiness of potential clients/customers by analyzing financial information, credit reports, and payment history.
  • Monitor accounts receivable aging reports.
  • Contact/Work with customers to negotiate payment plans, resolve disputes, and escalate collection efforts when necessary.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with clients/customers to facilitate payment and address any issues or concerns.
  • Analyze collection trends, identify delinquent accounts, and develop strategies to minimize bad debt losses.
  • Prepare regular reports and analysis on credit and collection performance, including aging reports, collection forecasts, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Lead or participate in special projects and initiatives as required.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 10+ years of experience in corporate customer risk management.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams, build relationships with corporate customers.
  • Strong understanding of credit risk management principles, methodologies, and best practices, with specific knowledge of corporate customer credit analysis and risk assessment techniques.
  • Proven experience in evaluating the creditworthiness of corporate customers, analyzing financial statements, assessing cash flow, and determining credit risk ratings.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to identify trends, and make sound credit risk decisions.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams, build relationships with corporate customers.
