Six (6) years of relevant experience in a related field of Science and research handling live cell cultures or an equivalent combination of education and experience.Position Description:
The Intermittent Temporary BioMed Research Technician, under general supervision, will prepare stem cells for infusions and complete all related documentation related to the involved clinical trials. This position will work intermittently on days infusion treatments are planned for clinical trial patients.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities:
- Process stem cells on the day of infusion treatment to include measuring viability, working with other departments for all safety tests, and preparing infusion bag.
- Complete all required paperwork to ensure process is thoroughly documented and all government/regulatory forms are completed accurately.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in related field of Science
- Experience handling live cell cultures.
- Knowledge of basic equipment involved in preparing live cell cultures for use in human trial subjects.
- Knowledge of regulatory paperwork required when performing human clinical trials.
Compensation will be commensurate to candidate experience.
