The University of Louisville is seeking a qualified Clinical Research Nurse II to join the Clinical Trials Unit (CTU) within the Cardiovascular team, with primary responsibilities focused on managing cardiovascular and critical care clinical studies. This role involves coordinating the implementation of research protocols, organizing and leading the clinical research team, and serving as a dedicated advocate for study participants. The nurse will collaborate with the research team to develop recruitment strategies, identify potential participant sources, and establish referral networks.
Key responsibilities include screening and enrolling participants in accordance with protocol-specific inclusion and exclusion criteria, educating participants on study procedures, and ensuring accurate and complete source documentation. The nurse will also be responsible for writing orders, administering investigational medications and devices, and monitoring participant health throughout the study. Additional duties include assisting in the development of treatment plans and conducting physical assessments under the guidance of the Principal Investigator.
Target Compensation Maximum:
$100,553.00Target Compensation Minimum:
$67,035.00Compensation will be commensurate to candidate experience.
