The Biology Department is seeking an Assistant Professor Term (Non-tenure-track) with a tentative start date of January 2, 2026. This is a one-year position, with extension possible depending on performance. Ideal candidates will have a Ph.D. in any area of Biological Sciences, excellent communication skills, and a desire to make meaningful, positive contributions to our undergraduates’ educational experience. We seek candidates with experience using student-centered and evidence-based teaching practices.
The successful candidate must demonstrate readiness to teach Human Anatomy & Physiology and Microbiology lecture and laboratory courses. These courses are designed to support primarily undergraduate pre-nursing and pre-dental hygiene students. The ideal candidate will be comfortable teaching a diverse student population.
We expect to offer a starting salary of $55,000. Summer teaching may be undertaken for additional pay.
