The Role: Operations Director - Warehouse and Field Operations

What You’Ll Do:
Technician Scheduling & Dispatch
Lead scheduling and dispatch functions to maximize technician productivity and customer satisfaction.
Develop standardized and automated processes that improve response times, workload balance, and service quality while still meeting monthly KPI’s.
Partner with customer service and field teams to resolve issues quickly and maintain high satisfaction (NPS).
- Foster a positive service culture through communication, training, and quality standards.
- Warehouse & Inventory Management
- Provide strategic oversight of warehouse operations, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and scalability as the company grows.
- Leverage data-driven forecasting and inventory planning to optimize stock levels, reduce shrinkage, and improve throughput.
Implement systems and processes that enhance accuracy, streamline material flow, and maintain a safe, well-organized facility.
Assembly Operations
Direct assembly operations to deliver high-quality, consistent output that meets production schedules.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to eliminate bottlenecks, reduce waste, and support new product introductions.
Align assembly processes with organizational goals, balancing efficiency with flexibility for growth.
Collaborate with internal teams to refine methods and support new product launches.
Fleet Management
- Oversee the strategic management of the fleet, ensuring compliance, reliability, and cost control.
- Monitor utilization and performance data to optimize uptime, reduce expenses, and maximize return on assets.
- Establish proactive fleet management practices, supported by systems and reporting tools.
- Leadership & Change Management
- Lead and develop cross-functional teams with a focus on accountability, collaboration, performance and growth.
- Drive organizational change by implementing new systems, workflows, and tools that support scale and efficiency.
Use KPIs and data insights to guide decision-making, track progress, and communicate results across the organization.
Promote a culture of continuous improvement and safety through lean practices and operational discipline. (5S, Six Sigma, or similar).
What You’Ll Bring:
Bachelor’s degree in Operations, Business, Supply Chain, or related field (or equivalent hands-on experience).
5 - 7 years of operations leadership in a service scheduling, warehouse, or assembly environment.
Experience leading process improvement and change management in a growing company.
Strong data skills: able to analyze KPIs, identify trends, and use insights to make informed decisions.
- Proficiency in resource allocation and optimization, SLA’s, and service delivery processes.
- End to end supply chain knowledge: sourcing, procurement, logistics, warehousing and distribution.
- Certified CSCP or Lean Six Sigma a plus
- Comfortable balancing strategy with hands-on execution.
- Excellent communicator who can engage with frontline teams and leadership alike.
- Elevator industry experience a plus but not required
