Description:

 Perform responsibilities in accordance with all Company standards, policies, and procedures within the Poker room. Total payroll, scheduling, and                                          budgeting responsibilities within the Poker Department. Safeguard Company assets. Supervise all procedures and controls established by corporate,                                    department and the Nevada Gaming Control Board. Implement Poker Room department policies established by management. Monitor and review that                                  all Team Members perform to the property’s standards of service and hospitality, and follow all policies for Team Member counseling and discipline.                                        Discuss and consult with Director in ways to stimulate business levels and increase head count, and coordinate the logistics involved to cope with them.                                Review and analyze all Poker Room financial reports and budgets for accuracy and feasibility. Keep well informed regarding all corporate and Poker                                      Department policies and/or procedures, upcoming events and weekly Service Standards and communicate them to all Team Members. 

Qualifications:

One year as a Poker Supervisor or higher at a minimum. Ability to communicate effectively with Guests, Team Members, and Management in both written and verbal form. Basic mathematics, money handling and computer skills. Thorough working knowledge and understanding of all Nevada Gaming Regulations as they pertain to all Poker Department, and ensure that the Poker Department complies with such regulations. The ability to read budgets, time sheets and Daily Manager Reports, and understand how they affect the operations of the Poker Room and review them for accuracy. Ability to work long and varied shifts. The ability to effectively manage and meet all budgets constraints, salary and payroll costs, promotional and advertising costs and purchasing costs to meet the revenue objectives of the Poker Department. Thorough working knowledge of Title 31, MTL’s, CTRN’s, Suspicious Activity Reports, W2-G and 1099 forms as they pertain to all aspects of the Poker Department.
