Senior Research Assistant / Research Assistant I/II in the School of Chinese Medicine (Ref:5333362) (The appointment will commence as soon as possible on temporary basis until 31 March 2027)
Applicants should be registered healthcare professionals or registered social workers or hold a Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, and possess at least 5 years of relevant post-graduate work experience preferably in the fields of public health, medical services or social services. Prior experience in managing government-funded or large-scale community health promotional projects, as well as expertise in Chinese medicine clinical services for smoking cessation, is highly preferred. Applicants should demonstrate strong organizational and communication skills. They should be well-organized, multi-tasking, and have a strong sense of responsibility with the ability to work independently. An excellent command of written English and spoken Cantonese and Putonghua is essential. Those applicants with less experience may be considered as Research Assistant I/II.
The appointee will be involved in a territory-wide, government-funded Chinese medicine smoking cessation service programme. He/She will have a good exposure to a diverse range of administrative work, assisting in project implementation and liaison with various stakeholders at different levels. He/she is expected to work closely with PI and multiple teams, providing operational support, project evaluation, programme co-ordination and performing other duties as assigned. Flexibility to work outside office hours is required
