  • Temporary, Non-Union, Non-Exempt Position
  • $16.50 per hour, 40 hours per week
  • Monday through Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm

Basic Function Of Temporary Receptionist:

Greet and direct all customers seeking services and/or information from NOI.

Responsibilities Of Temporary Receptionist:

  • Welcomes, informs, and directs all visitors, calls and customers in a courteous and expeditious manner.
  • Ensures that all customers, community leaders and officials feel welcomed and well received by the agency.
  • Directs visitors to sign in and calls the person with whom they are meeting. If designated staff member is not available, calls an assigned contact person.
  • Contacts appropriate departments if a visitor appears without an appointment to determine if the visitor can be seen or needs to leave information for a follow-up call.
  • Maintains and keeps organized the reception area, so that customers and visitors can be assisted in an orderly, pleasant, timely and business like manner. 
  • Maintains a visitor log and provides summary information as requested.
  • Directs visitors to elevators and bathroom facilities, as appropriate.
  • Other related duties as assigned. 

Requirements

Requirements Of Temporary Receptionist:

Education:

High School Diploma or GED

Experience:

1 - 2 years of related experience and/or training preferred.
