Medium Rare is Australia’s leading content agency. Our clients include Coles, Qantas, CommBank, American Express, Chartered Accountants Australia & New Zealand, Australian Institute of Company Directors, and many more.

We are seeking a Commercial Campaign Analyst to join our team supporting Qantas Loyalty and Airline Partner campaigns. You will be responsible for reviewing campaign performance, extracting insights, and providing analysis to guide renewals of existing business. Using a variety of primary and secondary data sources, you will prepare detailed post-campaign reports and present findings alongside the Qantas Partnerships team to support ongoing revenue growth.

This role will also proactively identify content performance trends and act as a domain expert in digital and social channels to educate internal content and partnerships teams.

You will collaborate closely with the Rare Growth Qantas partnerships and content team, MRCA sales team, GM Commercial Strategy & Growth, and Commercial Solutions team.

Key Responsibilities

Post Campaign Reporting and Commercial Insights

  • Collates post campaign performance data from various sources to present a post campaign analysis for Qantas Loyalty and Qantas airline partnerships. Consolidates in a singular dashboard
  • Present reports to relevant stakeholders and clients
  • Provides analysis and recommendations for future contract/campaign renewals based on strengths in previous campaign performance
  • Provides regular performance contact reports for high-level strategic partnerships
  • Supports responses to briefs by extracting key past performance insights to inform the strategic direction of campaign renewals
  • Responsible for all quarterly Roy Morgan readership reporting and updating of sales collateral accordingly 

Business Development

  • Content performance trends are identified and shared with Rare Growth content team for future planning
  • Identifies new opportunities for digital and social ad product development based on deep domain understanding
  • Monitors industry developments and global trends and helps translate them into commercial opportunities
  • Develops a close commercial relationship with the Qantas Loyalty partnerships team, Travel Adops team and Qantas editorial 

Who Are You?

  • Experience with Adobe Analytics, Facebook Ad Manager, Nexus, and Google Ads Manager, using these tools to drive growth and optimise customer engagement through data-driven strategies.
  • Understanding of SEMrush and AdIntel, particularly in analysing search trends and competitive intelligence would be favourable.
  • Strong analytical skills allow you to transform complex data into actionable insights that directly impact campaign strategy and business growth.
  • Experience with running campaign analysis for social marketing, either within an agency or brand environment, with a focus on campaign effectiveness and content strategy development.
  • Articulate and confident in presenting insights and recommendations to clients and internal teams.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, detail-oriented, and passionate about using data to inform strategy and guide decision-making.
  • You bring a revenue-driven mindset, always focused on maximising digital and social post-campaign impact and contributing to ongoing commercial success.
