Who We'Re Looking For
The Senior Consultant will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality Modern Communications solutions to customers, acting as a technical authority within the team. This role is responsible for leading complex deployments, supporting Junior and Technical Consultants with escalations, and ensuring accurate, timely feedback to Project Managers throughout project lifecycles. The Senior Consultant will leverage extensive experience with Microsoft phone systems to drive successful outcomes in a fast-paced environment.
What You'Ll Be Delivering
Operational Project Delivery:- Lead workshops and technical sessions with customers as part of the Modern Communications Managed Service offering, demonstrating advanced technical and functional expertise.
- Oversee and support end-to-end project delivery for Calling Plan, Operator Connect, and Direct Routing opportunities, including pilot, UAT, migration, and go-live phases.
- Act as the primary escalation point for technical issues raised by Junior Consultants and Technical Consultants, providing guidance and resolution.
- Create and review support documentation for complex technical scenarios and ensure knowledge transfer across the team.
- Mentor and upskill Junior Consultants, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented team culture.
- Ensure all project activities align with Transparity’s quality standards and Microsoft best practices.
- Provide accurate and timely feedback to Project Managers regarding project status, risks, and technical blockers.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, ensuring a positive customer experience from initial engagement through project completion.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and communicate these to the Head of Modern Communications.
- Communicate clearly and confidently with internal teams and customers, especially regarding technical escalations and project progress.
- Promote a positive team culture, encouraging collaboration, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement.
- Deliver work in accordance with Transparity’s quality standards and development best practices.
- Confirm task scope and priorities with Project Managers or Technical Leads before execution.
- Adhere to change management and escalation protocols for any deviations or issues encountered.
- Complete accurate and timely timesheets to reflect all client and internal activity.
We Think You'Ll Be Successful In This Role If You Have Some Of The Following
- Expert-level proficiency in Modern Communications workloads (Microsoft Teams, Conditional Access, Intune) and related services.
- Extensive end-to-end experience working with Microsoft phone systems, preferably with interoperability (Cisco/Mitel/Avaya)
- Experience with either Dynamics 365 Contact Centre Platform, and/or, Microsoft certified Contact Centre solutions.
- Proven ability to act as SME on complex technical solutions and guide projects from design through to delivery.
- Strong understanding of hybrid scenarios, on-premises PBX, Networking and DNS record management.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and presentation skills.
- Strong troubleshooting skills in SIP telephony and Microsoft environments.
- Excellent customer engagement and communication skills.
- Proactive attitude with a commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
- Flexibility to support out-of-hours migrations and project work as required.
- Demonstrable experience supporting and mentoring Junior Consultants and Technical Consultants.
- PowerShell and Microsoft Graph scripting skills.
- Experience leading or contributing to pre-sales solution design and tender responses.
- Relevant Microsoft certifications or equivalent experience.
