Tasks
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee technical projects across the entire lifecycle, from concept through delivery and validation.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including engineering, production, quality, and procurement.
- Ensure compliance with relevant rail industry standards, safety regulations, and customer specifications.
- Act as a technical interface with clients, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
- Monitor budgets, schedules, and resources to ensure efficient project execution.
- Prepare and deliver technical documentation, status reports, and presentations for management and customers.
- Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
Requirements
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Proven track record in technical project management in the rail or transportation industry is required.
- Strong understanding of complex technical systems and integration processes.
- Proven track record of leading cross-functional engineering teams.
- Excellent communication skills in German and English; additional languages are an advantage.
- Structured, solution-oriented, and proactive working style with strong leadership qualities.
