What is the Opportunity?  

We now have an exciting role for an Operations Manager to join our passionate, highly driven and successful Operations team. Based at our Regency Park site, the successful candidate will manage the day-to-day operations of a small warehouse and rentals team ensuring customer expectations and service level agreements are met across South Australia.

As the Operations Manager you will come with over 3 years’ experience in leading a team, you would have a strong understanding of ERP systems, possess a strong knowledge for supply chain processes and have exposure to with working in industries that have over 10,000 SKUs. You will need to have experience working within a dynamic business, working closely with your team and be proven in the profitable running, development and improvement of business operations, systems and processes.

We are looking for a person to:

  • Provide knowledge, advice, direction and feedback on a daily basis. Act as a mentor and coach to direct reports.
  • Oversee Warehouse & Rental stock take.
  • Conduct regular ongoing Performance Reviews (Continuous Conversations) using Coaching and the GROW model. Annual Salary and Bonus Plan development and reviews. Talent Management of up and coming employees and succession planning.
  • Induct new employees, conduct Probation Reviews.
  • Oversee and manage commercial relationships for all of SA in conjunction with Sales team.
  • Represent the company at various community and/or business meetings to promote the company and promote positive relations with partners, vendors, and distributors.
  • Performance Management of employees including assisting with incident investigations that include Operations employees.
  • Ensure site operates according to internal Quality Management Systems and ISO 9001.
  • Ensure that all state Operations employees and activities are compliant with the Arjo OHS Management Plan, health and safety Policies and Procedures and the Occupational Safety & Health Act 1984.

To be successful in this position, you will possess:

  • At least 3 years’ experience managing or supervising a Warehouse or Equipment Rentals Team.
  • Experience managing 10K Stock Keeping Unit (SKU).
  • Exposure to managing a rental fleet and medical devices industry experience is an advantage
  • Experience in leading a team, demonstrating strong leadership skills with a proven ability to successfully coach and develop teams.
  • Strong results orientation and ability to demonstrate experience in achieving targets
  • Excellent organisational, time management, planning and analytical skills underpinned by personal accountability.
  • Experience working with ERP platforms.
  • Demonstrated expertise with Microsoft Windows operating system and MS Office applications.
