LGES Vertech is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Continuous Improvement Manager to join our growing team in the grid-scale battery storage industry. As the first full-time hire in the Continuous Improvement team, this role will be instrumental in building the existing foundation and CI culture for operational excellence. The ideal candidate will be equally comfortable developing strategic frameworks and rolling up their sleeves to execute initiatives that drive measurable impact across engineering, supply chain, finance, and field operations.

Primary Responsibilities
- Architect, develop, and implement a company-wide continuous improvement program that aligns with business goals and the unique challenges of systems integration and long-term operations & maintenance of grid-scale battery storage systems.
- Lead cross-functional initiatives to improve safety, efficiency, quality, and scalability across supply chain, project execution, and service operations.
- Apply Lean, Six Sigma, and other CI methodologies to identify and eliminate waste, reduce cycle times, and improve throughput.
- Partner with engineering, operations, and field teams to optimize workflows and standardize best practices.
- Facilitate Kaizen events, root cause analyses, and process mapping workshops.
- Develop and monitor KPIs to track performance improvements and ROI of CI initiatives, including the build out of PowerBI dashboards.
- Build internal CI capabilities through training, coaching, and knowledge sharing.
- Support change management efforts and foster a culture of continuous improvement across the organization.
- Document and communicate project outcomes and lessons learned to stakeholders, leveraging the existing lesson learned templates.
- Develop process flow diagrams and other key documentation using established company templates and in compliance with ISO 9001, 14001, 27001, and 45001 standards.
- Own the ongoing development and management of lesson learned activities and other root cause analysis
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, Black Belt, or other documented evidence of the knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies.
- Minimum 10–12 years of experience in process improvement, operations, or manufacturing, ideally within energy, renewables, construction, or industrial technology sectors.
- Proven ability to connect CI efforts to broader business strategy and identify high-leverage opportunities.
- Strong analytical skills and experience with data-driven decision-making.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to influence across all levels and previous experience in presenting to executive audiences.
- Experience in high-growth or startup environments is a plus.
