A typical day as a Senior Advisory Consultant at Optus
We are seeking a Senior Advisory Consultant, you will be at the forefront of new technologies, providing top-notch advisory and consultancy services in core networking security areas. You will collaborate with Sales, OE Product teams, and COEs on new acquisitions and existing customer opportunities. Your responsibility is to articulate transformation journeys in line with customer business strategies, identify areas for change/opportunity, and guide customers to recognize and seize these opportunities.
You will engage with C-level executives, proposal authoring, and innovative thinking to build strong rapport and trusted advisory status with customers. Your in-depth technology and business knowledge across various industry segments will be crucial in presenting enterprise-wide solutions to address varying business needs.
Identify growth opportunities and align resources with OE Sales and customers. Lead consultants and engineers to support team growth.
What we’re looking for
- Extensive experience in telecommunications, new technologies, applications, and transformation challenges across various industries.
- Proven ability to develop complex technology strategies, road maps, and architectures.
- Outstanding problem-solving, customer relationship, and communication skills with the ability to interact with technical and business audiences at multiple levels.
- Strong advisory skills to influence customers and advise them on the best technology strategy and architecture.
- Experience in technology solution development, implementation, and sales.
- Leadership capabilities, demonstrating integrity, crafting an environment of openness, and developing strong, trusted relationships.
- Financial performance management, including budget planning, tracking, and reporting.
