The Bosch Home Comfort Group has acquired the HVAC business from Johnson Controls/Hitachi. The acquisition and subsequent integration is managed by the Trinity project, with the IT functional area having overall responsibility for all IT-related topics.
The BRM Americas Lead serves as the senior IT liaison between the business units across the Americas region and the global IT organization. This role is responsible for aligning IT services, capabilities, and strategic initiatives with business objectives across North America and Latin America, including oversight of regional BRMs and coordination with global functional IT leads.
The BRM Americas Lead ensures that the region’s IT needs are effectively represented in global planning, while also facilitating the successful local execution of enterprise programs such as ERP, MES, supply chain, and manufacturing technology initiatives.
Job Description
Regional It–Business Alignment
- Act as the primary interface between business leaders in the Americas and the global IT organization.
- Aligning IT initiatives with regional business goals, including manufacturing, supply chain, finance, and commercial functions.
- Translate business strategies into IT roadmaps for execution in collaboration with global and regional teams.
Brm Team Leadership
- Lead and mentor a team of regional BRMs, including the BRM for LATAM and Factory Direct BRM.
- Provide direction and performance management to ensure consistent engagement, delivery, and stakeholder satisfaction.
- Foster a culture of partnership, accountability, and value realization within the BRM team.
Demand Management & Portfolio Prioritization
- Manage IT demand from regional business units, ensuring alignment with global standards and local needs.
- Facilitate demand planning, business case development, and prioritization with regional and global stakeholders.
- Maintain a transparent and efficient intake process to ensure timely delivery of IT solutions.
Collaboration with Global IT Functional Leads
- Act as a regional representative for global functional IT domains (e.g., ERP, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Finance).
- Ensure regional execution of global IT programs while surfacing local risks, compliance requirements, and operational constraints.
- Coordinate with global process owners and solution teams to support harmonization and scalability
IT Project Oversight & Value Delivery
- Oversee execution of regional and global IT projects within the Americas, ensuring delivery against scope, timeline, and budget.
- Track and report on business value realization, KPIs, and stakeholder satisfaction for IT initiatives.
- Proactively manage escalations and service issues impacting critical business operations.
Governance, Compliance & Risk Management
- Ensure compliance with IT policies, data privacy laws (e.g., LGPD, SOX), and security standards across the region.
- Support audit processes and risk mitigation related to IT systems and services.
- Enforce regional adherence to global IT governance, project methodology, and architecture principles.
Communication & Change Leadership
- Communicate IT strategy, project status, risks, and value to regional business stakeholders.
- Support change management and user adoption efforts during system rollouts and transformations.
- Serve as an advocate for digital innovation and business transformation through technology.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, Engineering, or related field.
- Master’s degree or MBA preferred.
- 12+ years of experience in IT or digital roles, with a minimum of 5 years in business relationship management or IT leadership.
- Experience working in matrixed organizations and global/regional IT delivery models.
- Proven experience leading cross-country teams and working with senior business stakeholders.
- Background in manufacturing, supply chain, or ERP implementation is highly desirable.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and influencing abilities.
- Deep understanding of IT solution lifecycles, business case development, and stakeholder engagement.
- Fluent in English; proficiency in Spanish and/or Portuguese is a strong advantage.
- Solid knowledge of IT governance, service delivery, and compliance frameworks.
